What a delicious two days - comprised of talks, cookery demonstrations and a-lot of eating! As a foodie myself, I was so thrilled to be asked to capture the annual Soho House Food Summit festival, held in the idyllic surroundings of Soho Farmhouse. Featuring a stellar line up of culinary masterminds including Raymond Blanc and Anna Jones, this years focus was ‘conscious’, both in the food that we eat and its environmental impact.
My favourite moments included Melissa Helmsley and Mina Holland’s hilarious ‘Pub & Grub’ quiz and Bombay Sapphire’s gin masterclass. The highlight however, had to be the first evening dinner in the Main Barn, hosted by Silo. The Brighton based, zero-waste restaurant produced a showstopper four-course meal for guests, including ingredients such as fir (yes, Christmas Tree leaves are edible). Guests left Food Summit not only feeling very full, but with a few new culinary tricks up their sleeve too! Below are a few of my favourites from the weekend...
